AAFA 1800s SCRIPT STONEWARE ONE GALLON CROCK JM PRUDEN NJ BLUE DECORATED
DUE TO THE FACT THAT CAMERAS AND COMPUTERS HAVE COLOR VARIATIONS, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIFFERENCES IN PICTURES VERSUS ACTUAL COLOR. WE TRY TO DESCRIBE THE ACTUAL COLORS TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY. An important stoneware jug made by and signed as. This is a salt glaze beige stoneware crock, with a script ONE above the decoration. The maker mark on reverse is decorated with cobalt blue frame. We will never know the exact intent of Pruden forming this wonderful and visually pleasing decoration. The upper lip bears a chip, and there is a kiln firing fault on the outside wall clearly shown in the photos. A very small and faint hairline on lip edge into the wall. Kiln dust, burn firing marks, and some salt glaze misses exist. This displays quite nicely, and GUARANTEED original and period, and NOT a reproduction. Sorry we have been obligated to impose this policy. Those ebayers who know us will understand.
A great addition to your collection. As described above, and as shown in the photos. No reproduction without prior written consent. BE SURE YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH THIS ITEM AS DESCRIBED AND AS PICTURED.
