Is a piece of St. Louis's rich brewing history. Established in 1866 by the Meier brothers, the brewery operated until around 1889, when it and many other small local breweries folded under the successfull competition of the Lemp and Anheuser-Busch Breweries. Located on the historic Cherokee Street in St.
Louis, its enormous cellars are excellently preserved and are being utilized by Earthbound Brewing on Cherokee Street. The Stein is an unusually beautiful example of stoneware with salt glaze.
Original condition, one small hairline rim edge crack and one half inch hairline crack, no chips, see photos. Size: 5 inches tall, 3.5 inches across base.
