The front nameplate has areas that were not covered with paint/glaze. Lower front area around the spigot has flecks of what appear to be surface rust.
Likely, from splash back when water was being poured. Spigot has nice patina and appears to function well. The raised floral pattern is very nice cobalt blue against gray. The interior has fingerprints embedded in the pottery, made during manufacturing.
