New Yorkk Stoneware Co Fort Edward Ny 2 Gallon Cobalt Decorated Bird Crock

  

The crock stands 9 inches tall and has a 9 inch diameter at the base. The crock has no chips on rim or base, there are no hairline cracks , and no crazing. The handles are also not chipped, see photos # 9 and 10.

One small glaze pop , see photo #11. The Ft Edward stamp is well defined and easy to read, see photo # 7. The cobalt decorated bird is deep dark blue cobalt, and expertly painted, photo # 6 is fuzzy but bird is sharp. I had a question from an Ebayer, the question was concerning repairs or restoration. I have had this for over three years. I can not guarantee that it has not been restored; but I can not tell that it has had any repairs or restoration.
