The Hicks Rubber Company officially ended all business on May 31, 2000. Yes, there are manufacturing defects in the glaze of this jug like glaze pin holes and missed spots of glaze as well as some glaze drips, but these imperfections were incurred during the manufacturing process and do not detract from the value of the piece like chips, cracks and breaks do.
