This antique salt glaze stoneware jug dates from around 1875, and is signed. The large 2 marks it as a two gallon jug. It has prominent floral cobalt decoration. This jug measures approximately 13 inches high by7 3/4 inches at the base. It has an overall pleasing presentation but there are a few dings, bruises, and some small spider web cracks.
