Large Early Blue & White Stoneware Barrel Syrup Jug 6 7/8

  
Pictured is a quite large, 6 7/8 high, blue & white stoneware syrup jug available for sale. The barrel-shaped jug has four (4) embossed blue decorated bands depicting metal staves for a wooden barrel. The topside area has an embossed heart-shaped design as the spout. The jug retains its original wire bail handle & dates from 1905 - 1925. It's in excellent condition with no nicks, damage or repairs.

Note: We measured the volume to be surprisingly just under one gallon, specifically, seven cups in size. It's the first of this size we have seen through the years.
