Pictured is a quite uncommon & infrequently seen stoneware bride's basket by UHL Pottery, Huntingburg, Indiana. The small blue on blue basket has a light blue background with darker cobalt blue flecks over the entire surface.
It's perhaps two-thirds the size of "regular" UHL bride's baskets seen. It measures 8" in height, 3 1/4" in base diameter, & dates from 1905 - 1925. It's in excellent condition with a minute sliver on the brim of the rim and a very minor sliver at the base.
